Companionship visits, friendly check-ins, or wellness visits are all valuable services to consider for a caregiver who might require respite or if someone is living alone and potentially isolated.

Most non-medical companionship services for seniors focus on providing company and friendship, rather than high levels of personal care. Knowing that someone is coming to visit and spend time with them acts as a powerful motivator to get their day going.

Extended Care Companion Visits

Family can schedule regular visits for seniors or those with health challenges in extended care, nursing homes, or long-term care facilities. We work closely with families and any support groups of clients to ensure quality uplifting companionship visits that are engaging and compassionate.

Respite Care Visits

Caregivers often need a few hours of respite so that they can recharge and participate in activities that help them stay physically and mentally well. At Hello Darlene, we pride ourselves on the individually tailored plan for activities during visits to keep your loved one entertained and engaged while you are away.

Wellness Visits

If you live out of town and are separated from a loved one, visits are a great way to have support on a regular basis. Fridge and pantry rotation of food, light housekeeping, appointment coordination, meal preparation, and friendly cups of tea can provide families who live out of town a great sense of relief that their loved one is safe and happy.

Care companions can be found through PSW, Nursing agencies, and Private Senior Service businesses locally. It is not a one size fits all match. An assessment should be completed to determine the right fit to match needs and environment.

Connecting seniors to services is our superpower!
